    Regional Director of Operations – Senior Living

    Cincinnati, OH | Senior Living / Long-Term Care | Monday – Friday | Day Shift

    Compensation: $120,000 – $170,000

    Employment: Full-Time / Direct Hire

    About the Opportunity

    A well-established, mission-driven senior living organization with a growing multi-state portfolio is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead field execution and drive performance across multiple communities. This is a high-accountability leadership role inside an organization that has built its reputation on exceptional resident experience, cultural integrity, and intentional growth. The right leader will join at a pivotal moment and have direct impact on how operational excellence scales across the enterprise.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide day-to-day and strategic operational oversight across a multi-state portfolio of senior living communities
    • Own regional P&L performance including census growth, labor management, and expense control
    • Conduct regular on-site visits to assess performance, coach leaders, and address operational needs
    • Lead operational readiness and integration efforts for new acquisitions, expansions, and program launches
    • Monitor quality and safety metrics; partner with clinical leaders to drive continuous improvement
    • Ensure full regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
    • Coach and develop Executive Directors and department leaders to strengthen operational capability
    • Partner with HR, Finance, Clinical Quality, and Compliance on workforce planning and enterprise initiatives
    • Support survey readiness, audit preparation, and corrective action planning across the region
    • Translate enterprise strategy into clear, actionable plans for campus-level leaders

    What You'll Need

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field required; Master's preferred
    • 5+ years of multi-site operational leadership in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare
    • Demonstrated P&L ownership with experience in census growth, budgeting, and financial management
    • Strong working knowledge of multi-state regulatory environments and compliance frameworks
    • Proven ability to coach and develop site-level leaders in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
    • Experience supporting organizations through acquisitions, expansions, or operational transformation
    • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, including overnight travel as needed
    • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and executive presence
