Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead multi-state operations for a rapidly growing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) organization. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, leading State Directors, supporting regional growth, and ensuring consistent execution across multiple markets.
Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll optimize staffing, patient access, operational efficiency, and overall business performance while helping scale the organization.
Healthcare operations experience is required. ABA, Behavioral Health, Autism Services, Home Health, or another multi-site healthcare background is strongly preferred. Travel throughout the assigned region is required.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop State Directors across multiple states.
- Drive accountability, operational consistency, and leadership development.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues.
- Foster collaboration and share best practices across the region.
Operational Excellence
- Improve operational efficiency, staffing, scheduling, patient access, and service delivery.
- Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve regional performance.
- Support new market launches, expansion initiatives, and operational improvements.
Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Execute company-wide operational initiatives and process improvements.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and drive business performance.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Clinical Leadership, Staffing, Revenue Cycle, Credentialing, Finance, Human Resources, and Business Intelligence to ensure operational alignment and successful execution.
Leadership Development
- Develop and mentor operational leaders across the region.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience required.
- ABA, Behavioral Health, Autism Services, Home Health, or another multi-site healthcare background strongly preferred.
- Experience overseeing multi-site or multi-state operations.
- Experience leading and developing operational teams.
- Strong background in operational strategy, KPI management, and process improvement.
- Experience supporting organizational growth and scaling operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
