Regional Director of Radiology

General Summary:

Henry Ford Heath is recruiting a Regional Director of Radiology. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Radiology, this leader provides direction for multiple hospitals within the assigned region, or hospital(s) within the assigned region in addition to multiple system functions. In collaboration with the AVP, this leader implements strategies for efficient operations and ensures effective leadership of all assigned areas of responsibility. Ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Collaborates with the AVP to develop tactical plans. Reviews and revise standards and ensures procedures comply with all institutional and regulatory agency standards. Coordinates delivery of services with other clinical functions and serves as an expert resource. Works in alignment with the business units and regional leadership to implement a consistent approach to the delivery of value-based radiological services.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's in health, business or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of leadership experience in a health care environment, including leadership experience in radiology operations.
• Process improvement training preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and written, verbal communication skills.

Certifications/Licensures Required:

• Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred.
• Certification and proficiency in one or more imaging modalities preferred.
