The Regional Director of Sales will oversee daily operations related to sales, drive business development initiatives, manage customer relationships, and lead the sales team to achieve performance targets. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring sales metrics and analytics, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONSSales and business development skillsExperience in sales operations and team managementStrong customer‑service skillsExcellent leadership and team management skillsProven ability to meet and exceed sales targetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills4+ years' experience in the hospitality industry requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with property sales to identify top accounts in the market and aggressively target those accounts to build corporate baseReview and analyze Account Production reports to ensure corporate and group production are stable or growing year over yearMinimum of 5 sales calls each week and/or appointments with top prospects in each market you serve. Travel 1‑2 days each week working assigned marketsExpectation is for hotels to achieve 116% revPAR index with aspirational goal of 120%Conduct monthly sales property visitsOversee and monitor sales system activity reportsAssist and help organize hotel sales blitzes as neededWork closely with the property Sales and Revenue Management team to assist in Group and LNR pricing decisionsAssist Sales in maintaining and optimizing brand websites on a quarterly basis for content refresh as neededBe knowledgeable of each market you serve and aware of special events and demand generatorsAssist in the annual RFP process for each propertyWork with each property to educate and train team members on maximizing daily revenue and daily sales strategiesWork with sales and revenue team in setting up packages and special event pricing for each property as neededReview upcoming group strategy and group blocks 30, 60, 90 days for needed actionRepresent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote RAM HotelsRecommend policies and procedures to enhance sales and operationsEnforce sales department company policies and proceduresAssist RAM Hotels in acquisitions and turnover of new acquired propertiesOther duties and responsibilities as assigned#J-18808-Ljbffr
