Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Regional Director of Service Operations to oversee operations for facilities located in the Western United States. This leadership role involves managing service operations, fabrication, and OEM parts departments across multiple locations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee service company operations, fabrication activities, steel sheet piling yard, and OEM parts department.
- Supervise and support field and in-house technicians, mechanics, and welders responsible for maintaining and servicing a portfolio of piling and related equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, service, parts, accounting) and external customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Set and monitor work schedules for both in-shop and remote repairs, maximizing labor utilization.
- Track and analyze labor and equipment usage to optimize service schedules.
- Assist in the reengineering and implementation of business processes and systems.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized facility by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Support the implementation of corporate growth strategies, including the opening of new locations in the western U.S.
- Willingness to travel periodically to facilities in California, Missouri, and Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction/Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of relevant work and supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with a foundation contractor, heavy equipment distributor, or in a mechanical role is desired but not required.
- Project Management experience and Six Sigma Certification (Black or Green Belt) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
