Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

The Associate ELS Instructor supports enterprise learning and development initiatives by delivering structured, company-aligned training programs that drive operational consistency and performance.

 

This role is primarily responsible for facilitating virtual and instructor-led training using established curricula, while reinforcing standardized processes and supporting skill development across teams.

 

Working in close partnership with ELS Instructors and cross-functional stakeholders, the Associate ELS Instructor ensures effective training execution, promotes learner engagement, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts. This role serves as a critical link between training design and field execution, while developing foundational skills in facilitation, coaching, and classroom management.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

 

Training Facilitation & Delivery (50%)

  • Facilitate instructor-led training sessions (primarily virtual, with some in-person delivery) using established content, delivery standards, and adult learning principles to ensure consistent, high-quality learner experiences.
  • Lead structured, task-based discussions that reinforce key learning objectives, focusing on technical skill development, process adherence, and application of standardized procedures.
  • Foster an engaging and well-managed learning environment by monitoring participation, pacing sessions effectively, and encouraging learner interaction.
  • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and operational expectations during training sessions to support consistency and alignment across locations and teams.
  • Monitor learner engagement and participation, fostering a structured and interactive learning environment that supports knowledge retention and skill application.

Training Operations & Administration (25%)

  • Execute onboarding and enablement processes by assigning LMS coursework, monitoring completion, and following up with participants to ensure timely progression and accountability.
  • Manage training logistics including scheduling support, attendance tracking, participant communication, and documentation to ensure accurate reporting and smooth program execution.
  • Maintain accurate training records and support reporting needs to ensure accountability and visibility into participation and completion.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and organization of training materials, job aids, and LMS content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with current business practices.

Learner Support & Coaching (15%)

  • Provide foundational coaching and real-time feedback to learners to reinforce desired behaviors, with guidance from senior instructors as needed.
  • Monitor learner progress and engagement, identifying individuals who may need additional support.
  • Assist in evaluating learner performance through assessments, participation, and observed behaviors; escalate risks or development needs as appropriate.

 

Continuous Improvement & Instructor Support (10%)

  • Capture learner feedback, frequently asked questions, and observed performance gaps; synthesize insights and escalate trends to ELS Instructors and leadership to inform ongoing training improvements.
  • Support the maintenance and updates of training materials, job aids, and documentation to ensure alignment with current processes.
  • Participate in team meetings, calibration sessions, and training observations to continuously improve facilitation effectiveness and instructional consistency.
  • Maintain awareness of training best practices and apply feedback to continuously improve delivery skills.
Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Foundational knowledge of collision repair operations
  • Basic presentation or communication skills, with the ability to learn and develop virtual facilitation and structured conversation techniques
  • Ability to manage time effectively and keep sessions on track.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams; familiarity with tools like Asana, Smartsheet, or PowerBI preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% local and air travel based on business needs.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and openness to coaching and development
  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
