About the Role

We’re adding a Regional Fabrication Welder-Mechanic to support projects across South Carolina from our Irmo, SC 29063 base. You’ll join a team that prizes precision, safety, and accountability—and you’ll see the direct impact of your welds and mechanical know-how on every site you visit.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to plan weld sequences and verify requirements.
  • Execute MIG, flux-cored (Flux), and stick welds on a variety of materials, meeting or exceeding industry and project standards.
  • Operate welding equipment with strict adherence to safety regulations and site protocols.
  • Conduct quality inspections, measure results, and document outcomes to ensure integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to diagnose and resolve welding and fit-up issues.
  • Perform mechanical tasks including installation, takeaway, and repair of mechanical machinery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools and equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training to broaden and deepen your welding capabilities.

  • A company vehicle is given.
  • You do not have to be directly located in Irmo. Anyone in the South Carolina area is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical welding certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated welding experience with a strong project portfolio.
  • Proficiency across MIG, flux-cored (Flux), and stick processes.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-driven, with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and adaptability to shifting project demands.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.
  • Mechanical background (install, takeaway, repair of machinery) strongly preferred.
