Description

Immediate need for a talented Regional Field Coordinator - General Superintendent. This is a Fulltime opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Austin(1st Preference)/San Antonio(2nd Preference)/Dallas, TX(3rd Preference)(Onsite). Pay Range: $150,000 - $200,000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractor performance.
  • Assist Vice President of Field Operations in hiring new staff members. (Hiring of new employees will be discussed at Field Coordinator meetings.)
  • Train team members in proper estimating, scheduling, and construction management techniques.
  • Delegate the appropriate level of responsibility to team members and carefully monitor their progress.
  • Assist Vice President of Field Operations in employee evaluation process and make recommendations regarding compensation for team members.
  • Terminate (layoff or firing) team members when appropriate. Termination issues will be discussed at Field Coordinator meetings. Any termination shall have the direct involvement and approval of the Vice President of Field Operations.
  • Monitor the workload of each team member to assure that the entire team is working productively and efficiently.
  • Assure that each team member is aware of and participates in appropriate educational opportunities.
  • Assist Vice President of Field Operations in accomplishing field operation “Action Plans” Significant participation in presentations to prospective clients.
  • Participate in past and continuing client contact program.
  • Sell Client (Company) US, Inc. to the public.
  • Assist project management in project proposal stage with scheduling and budgeting.
  • Assure that every project has someone assigned to it with “bottom line” responsibility for the project.
  • Review all estimates generated within the team for completeness and competitiveness.
  • Assure that all team members are using the appropriate “Client’s Tools” and that its use is consistent with the methods used throughout the construction department.
  • Assure team members maintain Client’s ethical standards and competitive bidding and management practices.
  • Assure that safety policies and procedures are implemented and enforced.
  • Achieve maximum profit on each project in a means that is consistent with Client’s long-term interests.
  • Assure that proper cost control techniques are used on all projects.
  • Assure that good communication and coordination occurs between the Client’s office and field staff.
  • Assure that proper communication and documentation procedures are adhered to on all projects.
  • Assure that periodic project meetings are held.
  • Assure that a high quality and quantity of work is completed on schedule and under budget.
  • Assure that projects are closed out properly and that punchlist work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Assure that accounts payable and accounts receivable are kept current on all projects assigned to them.
  • Assist project team members in approval and monitoring of subcontractors.
  • Minimize warranty issues through good reviews and management.
  • Further develop and train subordinates on new and existing computer programs.
  • Stay current on regional union issues and review and approve project labor agreements.
  • Prepare monthly reports to the Vice President of Field Operations on the status of all projects assigned to them.
  • Communicate company policies and procedures to team members on a regular basis.
  • Encourage new ideas from team members and communicate them to the Vice President of Field Operations.
  • Provide periodic and relevant information for the “Greenway” or any other appropriate means of communication.
  • Actively participate in periodic Field Manager/ Field Coordinator meetings and support decisions made at these meetings.
  • Work on special projects pertaining to the division as a whole.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities by setting a good example of the type of behavior that is expected from all Client’s employees.
  • Assist the Vice President of Field Operations in project and personnel assignments and workload monitoring.
  • Remain current with new developments in the construction industry in general and communicate them to team members.
  • Thorough knowledge of every aspect of building projects.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

  • Experience as a REGINAL FIELD COORDINATOR/GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT (Must Reflect in Resume).
  • Experience with COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION(Must Reflect in Resume).
  • Experience with MULTIFAMILY CONSTRUCTION, INDUSTRIAL, WAREHOUSE, COLD STORAGE, (Must Reflect in Resume).
  • Experience with MISSION CRITICAL (Must Reflect in Resume).
  • Experience with TRAIN, ESTIMAT, SCHEDUL, BUDGET, COST, MANAGING SUBCONTRACTOR (Must Reflect in Resume).
  • Portfolio(Link/PDF/etc.)
  • Budget of the project and the Area of the project must be mentioned in the resume.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate effectively with others.
  • Exhibit good sales ability and sensitivity to client needs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests and subsequent random testing.
