Regional Sales Manager | Life Sciences & Biochemistry | Boston, MA
Drug discovery does not happen in a vacuum. It happens because the right tools, compounds and relationships are in place when researchers need them most. The person in this role is the bridge between the science and the scientists.
This is a role for someone who understands both worlds.
A global life sciences company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in Boston or the New England area to manage and grow relationships with academic institutions, biotech companies and pharmaceutical organizations including accounts like Boston Children's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

$80,000 to $85,000 a year plus performance based commission

What you will be doing:
Managing and growing existing academic and industrial accounts across the Boston and Cambridge territory
Developing new academic and industrial customers within the territory
Conducting customer visits, presentations and product demonstrations
Attending scientific conferences, trade shows and industry networking events
Tracking market intelligence, competitor activity and customer feedback
Managing a sales pipeline with annual targets of two million dollars and above
What you need to bring:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering or a related scientific discipline
Experience in life sciences, biotech or pharmaceutical sales or business development
Proven track record managing customer accounts and developing new business
Must be based in Boston or the New England region
