Your responsibilities include managing safety performance across a diverse portfolio of environmental projects, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, providing technical input, conducting site investigations, engaging with clients, and acting as a safety and environmental champion by leading by example and coaching team members to correct unsafe conditions and behaviors.The specific responsibilities of the Regional Safety Manager include but are not limited to:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and train all newly hired and existing SES employees in compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures.Conduct and document daily safety briefings/meetings with onsite SES employees.Perform daily safety audits of all ongoing jobs and document findings thoroughly.Collaborate with operational supervision to address and correct any non-compliance issues found during audits or at other times to prevent recurrence.Maintain current knowledge of OSHA regulations, including PRCS, LO/TO, 40 Hr HAZWoper, PRCS Rescue, Fall Protection, PPE, etc.Document and file all safety-related paperwork accurately.Conduct detailed accident and incident investigations.Report all accidents and incidents to appropriate company, customer, state, and federal authorities.Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.Evaluate jobsites and maintain a presence at critical locations as needed.Develop and write Job Loss Analysis (JLA) for local employees, focusing on safety and continuous improvement, and manage a loss prevention system.Assist multiple locations in developing and implementing operational procedures to ensure safety and efficiency across service lines, which involves regional travel.Maintain a positive company image with customers and suppliers.The Regional Safety Manager may also undertake other duties as assigned by SES.QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Safety or related field.At least 2 years of experience in health and safety compliance.OSHA 30-hour training, preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to communicate effectively with both blue-collar workers and regulatory professionals.Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, organizational, and scheduling skills.Certificates & LicensesValid Driver's LicenseAbout UsSuperior Environmental Solutions (SES) is a leading provider of industrial and environmental services across the Midwest, founded in 1999.
