Regional Human Resources Generalist - West Region

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm (“Firm”) is seeking a skilled and experienced Regional Human Resource Generalist to be responsible for HR matters and functions in the Western Region. In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services in the Western Region and provide crucial support to the Firm’s Central HR Department by delivering exceptional client service and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Position Summary
The Regional HR Generalist - West Region, a subdivision of the Firm’s Central HR Department, is responsible for HR matters and functions in the Western Region, serving as the primary Human Resources contact for assigned law offices throughout the western region of the Firm. This role provides consultative and operational HR support to managers and employees, ensuring effective delivery of core HR processes, and will promote and cultivate a positive, compliant employee experience.
The Regional HR Generalist is responsive to office priorities while supporting a broad range of HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy guidance, compliance, and employee engagement. The position works closely with the Firm’s Central HR Department to carry out and oversee important functions in the assigned region including Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, and HR Operations, and to coordinate and ensure consistent and effective HR service delivery across locations. The Regional HR Generalist understands the dynamics of teamwork in working with office partners and peers in other regions to support Firm-wide HR functions and objectives and understands the multiple technical components of HR administration in the assigned region.
Candidates must reside in California and possess demonstrated experience supporting California managers and employees in HR functions, administration, and compliance detail. Experience supporting a multi-state or geographically dispersed workforce is strongly preferred.

Compensation
The range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
