The ideal candidate is a confident, relationship-driven HR professional who enjoys being visible in the field, solving complex people matters, conducting timely and well-documented investigations, and helping leaders build strong, engaged teams. This position reports to the Corporate Director, Human Resources, and requires regular travel to supported facilities.

What you will do:

  • Partners with HR leadership and facility teams to support the development, communication, and consistent implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Provides guidance and recommendations on employee relations matters, including hiring, performance management, corrective action, and termination decisions.

  • Develops corrective action plans and provides practical problem-resolution support to help leaders address workplace concerns effectively.
  • Delivers HR training for all levels of staff to strengthen compliance, leadership capability, and consistent workplace practices.
  • Coaches and supports facility HR Coordinators by monitoring performance, providing guidance, and helping ensure consistent HR practices across assigned locations.
  • Responds to EEOC and TWC claims in partnership with leadership and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Conducts mock audits and annual reviews of employee files, binders, and HR processes to support compliance readiness.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports HR data and metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Develops and supports employee engagement programs that help strengthen retention, communication, and overall employee experience.
  • Provides consultation and support for pre-employment and onboarding processes to help ensure a smooth candidate and new hire experience.
  • Ensure recruiting processes and policies are followed consistently across assigned facilities.
  • Supports additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

The ideal candidate brings sound HR judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to build trust with leaders and employees across multiple locations. Success in this role requires a balanced approach to compliance, coaching, employee relations, and field-based partnership in a fast-paced environment. This person should be confident handling sensitive investigations with urgency and professionalism while preparing clear, well-organized investigation documentation summaries.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience supporting multiple locations or sites is required.
  • At least 3 years of management experience overseeing multiple locations is required.

  • Action-oriented and service-minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and support leaders with professionalism and urgency.
  • Effective conflict resolution, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws governing human resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to supported facilities, up to 75%.
