Regional Human Resources Support Specialist
Sodalis Senior Living has an opening for a Regional Human Resources Support Specialist. The Regional Human Resources Support Specialist will provide Human Resources guidance and support to 12 Assisted Living communities in Florida and Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
Build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
Nurture a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns in a timely manner
Support corporate culture initiatives
Conduct investigations as needed to resolve employee issues and making recommendations to the Vice President, Human Resources
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor legislation
Conduct exit interviews to determine any negative trends within the community
Training and Development:
Oversee and monitor each community’s new hire orientation program
Assign annual training to staff to meet state requirements in the LMS
Conduct in-person all-staff meetings to review company policies and procedures as needed
Assess training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring continuous professional development
Conduct training with the executive leadership team at a community on new or changed policies and procedures
Recordkeeping:
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics for their region’s communities
Maintain detailed journal of issues and resolutions for each community
Other Duties:
Participate in community activities as schedule allows
Conduct regular Teams training with community Business Office Coordinators
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required; knowledge of HR systems and databases
Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in human resources, preferably regional or multi-location experience
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong attention to detail; solid understanding of employment laws and regulations; confident decision-making skills
Motivation: Commitment to working independently and as a team player; promotes a strong community culture; people oriented and results driven
Work Environment:
The ideal candidate will reside within the state of Florida
The Regional Human Resources Support Specialist will be expected to work remotely from home and travel to communities as needed to conduct Human Resources functions within the community
This position reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources at the corporate office in San Marcos, Texas
