Job Title: Regional Infusion Nurse Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Travel: 0-75%

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Infusion Nurse Manager provides clinical, operational, and leadership oversight for infusion services across multiple locations. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational efficiency while supporting organizational goals and maintaining exceptional patient outcomes.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide leadership and supervision to infusion nursing teams across multiple sites.
  • Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based infusion therapy services.
  • Monitor adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and standards of care.
  • Support management of patients receiving biologic, specialty, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day infusion center operations within the region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor productivity, staffing levels, scheduling, and resource utilization.
  • Participate in budget planning and management.
  • Evaluate operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing coverage across all regional locations.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on excellence and accountability.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor quality indicators, patient safety events, and infection prevention practices.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Maintain readiness for audits and regulatory inspections.

Patient Care & Customer Service

  • Promote exceptional patient-centered care.
  • Address escalated patient concerns and clinical issues.
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, pharmacists, case managers, and administrative leadership to optimize patient outcomes.

Strategic Leadership

  • Assist with expansion of infusion services and new site openings.
  • Support implementation of new therapies, technologies, and clinical programs.
  • Analyze regional performance data and prepare reports for executive leadership.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of infusion nursing experience.
  • 2-5 years of nursing leadership or management experience.
  • Multi-site healthcare management experience preferred.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy, clinic/ambulatory infusion centers, and/or home infusion services preferred.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel; and customized software. Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies as the organization changes. Ability to learn and utilize electronic record keeping systems.

Certificates & Licenses:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable states.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Infusion Nursing Certification (CRNI) Preferred.

Other Requirements: The ability to relate with effectiveness to the public. The ability to effectively perform several duties of the department and the ability to organize and achieve goals in a busy setting as well as effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Willingness to attend continuing education related to this role.
