ReGen Valley Tech Hub
Created as part of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, the U.S. Economic Development Administration's (EDA) Tech Hubs program is designed to secure U.S. leadership in industries of the future.
ARMI is the convening organization of the ReGen Valley Tech Hub, which is building New Hampshire and the surrounding region into a global epicenter for next-generation biomedical manufacturing and related technologies. The ReGen Valley Tech Hub Consortium is comprised of 80+ industry, academic, civic, and community collaborators dedicated to transformational impact and the economic growth of the region.
Your Role
As the leader of the ReGen Valley Tech Hub Consortium, the Regional Innovation Officer (RIO) drives the economic development and technology innovation strategy established by the Hub's representative Governance Committee. The RIO is responsible for accelerating the Hub's impact; ensuring successful fulfillment of the Hub's commitments to EDA and its collaborators; building and sustaining positive relationships with a broad range of local, regional, and national stakeholders; and ensuring a positive, contributory experience of the Hub for Consortium members. The RIO is employed by ARMI and operates on behalf of the Consortium.

Ability to drive the achievement of a bold regional vision for technology-based, community-guided economic development.
Exceptional executive presence with demonstrated ability to build coalitions, motivate teams, and lead transformational change in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Deep experience leading major programs and driving outcomes at a regional and/or national level.
Strong commitment to the economic development of ReGen Valley, demonstrated by active, in-person, sustained presence in the region.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Deep experience in regional economic development, with demonstrated ability to independently drive and creatively build impact (e.g., strengthening a regional capital stack, interfacing with public and private stakeholders, partnering).
Demonstrated experience with technology-based economic development preferred.
Direct experience with emerging technology environments preferred.
Direct experience with technology acceleration and new product commercialization preferred.
Demonstrated experience independently engaging multiple types of funders to drive economic development (e.g., venture, philanthropic, federal, State, local).
Ability to engage in frequent travel throughout the region, along with intermittent national travel.
Deep commitment to professional ethics and excellence, with demonstrated experience overseeing fiscal, compliance, and reporting requirements for major programs.
