What Drives Success:

Under general supervision, develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and services in a remote capacity.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Qualifies, pursues, and closes opportunities for Commercial customers from Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) identified by lead generation.
  • Develops a strategy for generating revenue based on the assigned account list.
  • Selects the correct products or assists customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Works on revitalizing dormant relationships with significant upside potential.
  • Monitors customer market spend and relationship with Lennox, identifying high-potential accounts for promotion to the District segment.
  • Coordinates with the Territory Manager to ensure smooth handoff of customers moving from Inside to Field coverage.
  • Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Ensures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
    Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective in written and verbal communication.
  • Requires intermediate industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
What We Offer:

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).  The starting salary range for this role and market is $84,000 to $110,000k annually. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 65% base salary and 35% commission.  New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months.  The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
