The Regional Lifestyle Manager brings Cove’s mission to life by delivering engaging, memorable lifestyle experiences that foster community connection, enhance satisfaction, and drive long-term loyalty across our portfolio of manufactured home communities and RV resorts. Working in close partnership with on-site Community Managers, Lifestyle Coordinators, Corporate Marketing, and the Resident Excellence Manager, the Regional Lifestyle Manager standardizes programming, elevates the guest and resident experience, and directly supports each community’s Cove Score (NPS). This is a highly mobile, field-based role requiring 50–60% travel across the assigned Central region.
Event Programming & Execution
- Regional Lifestyle Ownership: Own the quality, consistency, and delivery of lifestyle programming within the assigned region, ensuring each property reflects Cove’s core service standards and values.
- Signature Events: Plan, coordinate, and lead the on-site execution of two to three (2–3) major signature events per property per year within the region (e.g., welcome-back parties, seasonal celebrations, resident appreciation days).
- Annual Lifestyle Calendar: Partner with on-site teams to develop, implement, and standardize a dynamic annual calendar of events, themed weekends, live entertainment, and recreational activities across all assigned properties.
- On-Site Execution Support: Travel throughout the region to support the setup, execution, and breakdown of major events, ensuring every event meets Cove’s brand and quality standards.
Team Partnership & Enablement
- Coordinator Support: Train, support, and mentor on-site Community Managers and Lifestyle Coordinators to successfully execute daily localized programming and maintain brand standards.
- Best Practice Sharing: Champion consistent playbooks and share best practices across communities to raise the overall quality and consistency of lifestyle delivery in the region.
Communications & Marketing
- Newsletter Coordination: Coordinate with property teams and corporate marketing on community newsletters as needed to promote events and highlight lifestyle programming.
- Event Promotion: Partner with marketing to support promotion of regional events through property apps, creation and design of event flyers, and localized social media to maximize participation.
Vendor, Budget & Compliance
- Vendor & Entertainment Management: Source, negotiate, and manage regional contracts with food & beverage vendors, live bands, performers, decorators, community vendors, and equipment rental suppliers.
- Financial Management: Support the management of property lifestyle & events budget, track expenses, assist in annual budgeting process, and identify opportunities to drive value and revenue (e.g., private venue rentals, ticket sales, sponsorships).
- Feedback & Compliance: Track event attendance, conduct post-event evaluations, analyze resident satisfaction metrics, and ensure all events comply with local health, safety, and permitting regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in event planning, recreation management, cruise line entertainment, or multi-site resident/property activities.
- Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Direct experience in the RV resort, campground, or manufactured housing industry.
- Community-Centric Mindset: A passionate, guest-facing leader who thrives on building relationships with diverse resident demographics, from family vacationers to active 55+ permanent residents.
- Logistics & Organization: Elite multitasking skills with a proven track record of managing many moving parts across multiple physical locations simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Calendar, and creative/design software such as Canva and Adobe. Familiarity with Word Press is a plus.
- Social Media: Experience creating content and posting on social media via the Meta Business suite (i.e. Facebook & Instagram).
- Event Photography (Preferred): Ability to take high-quality photos and videos using an iPhone or similar device for events, community activities, social media, and marketing purposes.
- Ability to travel 60–75% and to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Superb attention to detail, with exemplary written and spoken communication skills.
- Identify and resolve problems efficiently while addressing conflicts effectively.
