As a Regional Manager, Engineering, you will be responsible for managing the field service, System Support Engineers and Dealers in their Region, and is responsible for, and has commensurate authority to accomplish, the fulfillment of the duties set forth below.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, train, and supervise System Support Engineers to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
- Manage schedules, field activities, budgets, expense reporting, and operational performance across the region.
- Partner with Regional Sales leadership and Head Office to support sales, service operations, training programs, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and support to engineers, dealers, and service organizations, including escalation assistance when needed.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver regional service training programs for engineers and dealer personnel.
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers and ensure adherence to Kyocera service policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor product deployments, machine populations, competitive activities, and field service trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collect, analyze, and report field performance, service issues, and customer feedback to senior leadership.
- Oversee regional service resources, facilities, equipment, tools, parts inventory, and approved budgets to maximize operational effectiveness.
- Support trade shows and regional events, ensuring appropriate service planning and execution.
- Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations, to the Senior Director of Technical Services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 Years working in a technical background with particular emphasis in color imaging, digital black and white and wide format.
- Minimum 5 years technical experience within the office product industry.
- Experience with computers (Macintosh, PC and Unix) and networks.
- Working knowledge of document editing and desktop publishing applications. Prior training on color and digital black and white controllers is also highly desirable.
- Physical requirements: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., kneeling, lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time.
- Company paid relocation is not provided. Employee must be willing to self-relocate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel 40% (includes overnight).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- CNE or MSCE certification is highly desirable.
- Prior training on color and digital black and white controllers is also highly desirable.
The typical pay range for this role is $74,000 -$122,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
