    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RNC) to provide clinical oversight and support to a small portfolio of skilled nursing facilities in and around the Jerseyville, IL area. This role is ideal for a hands-on clinical leader who enjoys traveling, partnering with facility teams, and driving compliance and quality outcomes.

    Position Summary

    The Regional Nurse Consultant serves as a clinical resource to facility leadership, with a primary focus on regulatory compliance, service excellence, and supporting facilities through Plans of Correction (POCs). The RNC works collaboratively with Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical systems and ensure survey readiness.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide on-site clinical oversight and support to multiple nursing facilities
    • Focus on regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and service standards
    • Assist facilities with survey preparation, response, and execution of Plans of Correction (POCs)
    • Conduct clinical audits, assessments, and follow-up reviews
    • Support and mentor Directors of Nursing and clinical leadership teams
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices
    • Maintain consistent communication with regional and corporate leadership

    Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Previous experience as a Regional Nurse Consultant, Director of Nursing, or similar multi-site clinical leadership role
    • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations in skilled nursing
    • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the region
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively and provide hands-on support
