Regional Nurse Consultant – Northern Illinois
Full-Time | Travel Required | RN Required

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for improving clinical outcomes across multiple sites? We are seeking a Regional Nurse Consultant to join our team and provide clinical oversight and support to a group of skilled nursing facilities in Northern Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and consultation to nursing home teams across multiple sites.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate clinical practices, survey readiness, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with staff education, onboarding, and training related to nursing policies and procedures.

  • Support and mentor Directors of Nursing and clinical teams to improve resident care and outcomes.

  • Analyze quality indicators and clinical data to drive improvements and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (or compact license with eligibility).

  • Minimum 3 years of multi-site clinical oversight experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, survey processes, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Northern Illinois.
