REGIONAL NURSE (RN)

Location: Bossier City & Oak Grove, Louisiana

Coverage Area: 3 Skilled Nursing Facilities

Employment Type: Full-Time

A growing skilled nursing organization is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversight across three Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Bossier City and Oak Grove, Louisiana markets.

This position serves as a key partner to facility leadership, supporting Directors of Nursing, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving clinical outcomes, and driving operational excellence across the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Directors of Nursing across multiple facilities
• Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, quality measures, and resident care standards
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
• Conduct routine clinical reviews, audits, and facility assessments
• Assist facilities with survey preparation, survey response, and plans of correction
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement corrective action plans
• Review trends related to rehospitalizations, falls, infection prevention, wounds, and other quality indicators
• Support nursing leadership development through coaching and mentorship
• Collaborate with Administrators and interdisciplinary teams to achieve operational and clinical goals
• Travel regularly between assigned facilities to provide onsite support and oversight

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Multi-facility skilled nursing leadership experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Regional Nurse, or similar nursing leadership role
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and long-term care compliance
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve clinical outcomes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to travel between facilities as needed

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) leadership experience
• Multi-site clinical oversight experience
• Survey readiness and regulatory compliance expertise
• Quality assurance and performance improvement experience
