As the brand builders, storytellers, and community builders for our company, the Communications & Marketing department is responsible for creating and amplifying our story in ways that get riders excited, motivate our team, and build great relationships with local communities and partners. Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 6 to 8 years of public affairs, government relations, community organizing, or related experience
  • Experience supporting and coordinating with consultants or agencies and across cross-functional teams
  • Strong political and community instincts with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Proven ability to operate independently across multiple markets while staying tightly aligned with a central team
  • Persuasive communicator able to represent our company at community meetings, civic hearings, and senior stakeholder conversations
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in technology, transportation, or other regulated industries a plus
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Play a role in building the regional public affairs strategy for the market portfolio, assessing community conditions and political landscapes to help determine the right level and type of engagement at each stage of market development
  • Partner with in-market consultants to create market plans and execute on goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior community stakeholders, including civic leaders, neighborhood associations, coalition partners, and key non-elected influencers, across your markets
  • Support powermapping efforts in coordination with the Policy team and consultants, identifying advocates and opportunities in your markets
  • Help oversee the design and execution of community activations and events, ensuring each activation ladders up to market-specific goals
  • Identify, cultivate, and mobilize local advocates to represent our company
  • Work cross-functionally with Policy, Fleet Operations, and Communications & Marketing to keep community efforts aligned with business priorities and regulatory timelines
  • Regularly report to Public Affairs Manager intelligence briefs on community sentiment, political developments, and emerging risks or opportunities across your region
