Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate re-entry efforts with institutional and community staff.

  • Participate in the training of community and institutional staff.

  • Provide technical assistance as requested.

  • Provide regional coordination of intensive supervision services to include monitoring and ensuring continuity of services.

  • Provide direct supervision to intensive supervision officers.

  • Coordinate the hiring process of new staff.

  • Ensure the practice of quality case management.

  • Ensure the development and implementation of community planning/review teams, community service opportunities and electronic surveillance options.

  • Oversee and monitor revocation process.

  • Responsible for working with database admin. To maintain intensive supervision database.

  • Aid In analysis, monitoring and evaluation of services. Inform agency leadership regarding ongoing implementation and progress of intensive supervision services as requested.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by division director.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:

A bachelors degree and relevant program experience.

SCDC Minimum Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in criminal justice, social work, or related field.

  • Three (3) years supervisory experience in corrections, community supervision, or reentry programs.
