About the Role:

As the Regional Refrigeration Specialist, you will serve as the technical expert and regional leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across Amazon"s expanding North American market. You will drive standardization, reliability improvements, and technical excellence across multiple facilities while ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards. You will be instrumental in leading Amazon RME towards World Class Maintenance in refrigeration operations.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • You will be able to travel domestically up to 80%, providing regional technical support and expertise for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across assigned geography and ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards
  • You will lead and execute refrigeration system audits, maintenance quality assessments, and reliability improvement initiatives across multiple facilities within the region
  • You will develop and implement standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures, troubleshooting protocols, and best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across all assigned sites
  • You will partner with site leadership, maintenance teams, central engineering groups, and vendor management to identify opportunities for equipment standardization, cost optimization, and performance enhancement
  • You will be able to travel up to 80% and provide escalation support and mentorship to local maintenance teams and operations personnel on refrigeration system operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance strategies
