SUMMARY
The Safety Director is directly responsible for managing the safety and risk associated with construction projects and company operations. The Safety Director will proactively plan, direct, and implement the Company's environmental, health, and safety program to ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free work environment. The Safety Director sets the tone for corporate safety and risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree: or six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and safety programs. Thorough understanding of safety strategies and practices within construction. Thorough understanding of leading and developing a safety team.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
