Pacific International has been retained by a global organization operating within complex, highly regulated environments to appoint a Regional Safety Manager . This role is responsible for providing regional safety leadership across multiple operating sites, with full accountability for driving a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in safety performance.The Regional Safety Manager will partner closely with site leadership and functional teams to ensure consistent execution of safety programs, effective training, and proactive risk management. This position plays a critical role in protecting employees, supporting operational continuity, and reinforcing safety as a core business priority.Key Responsibilities Drives a proactive, safety-first culture across assigned locations with consistent compliance to OSHA, DOT, and applicable regulatory standardsPartners with site leadership to establish clear safety expectations, performance targets, and accountabilityProvides coaching and guidance to safety leaders and operational teams to strengthen local safety capabilityLeads the execution of regional and enterprise safety initiatives aligned with corporate strategyOversees incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrenceMonitors safety performance data to identify trends, emerging risks, and improvement opportunitiesSupports audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure operational readiness and complianceAssists in the development and deployment of safety policies, procedures, and communication materialsProvides interim safety leadership support for locations experiencing staffing gapsMaintains a visible presence across sites, engaging regularly with leadership and frontline employeesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience supporting safety programs within regulated, multi-site operating environmentsStrong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, recordkeeping standards, NIOSH, DOT, and state plansAbility to influence leaders and teams and drive behavioral change without direct authorityProven capability in incident investigation, risk assessment, and corrective action implementationStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsAbility to travel regularly in support of regional responsibilitiesAbout Pacific International Pacific International, a globally recognized retained executive search firm, is dedicated to empowering Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and high-growth enterprises in building exceptional C-suite, senior-level, and strategic leadership teams while championing diversity and inclusion.
