Description
FieldForce Pumping & Power Solutions is looking for an experienced, hands-on Regional Sales Leader to lead and develop our sales organization across all three FieldForce branches - Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia.
This isn''t a role for someone who wants to manage sales from behind a desk.
We are looking for a leader who wants to be in the field with the team - coaching sales representatives, participating in customer meetings, reviewing opportunities, strengthening pipelines, developing territory strategies, and helping our people become better sales professionals.
The Regional Sales Leader will provide leadership and direction to FieldForce sales representatives across all three branches while partnering closely with branch and operations leadership. The focus is simple: develop great salespeople, create accountability, build a repeatable sales process, and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop FieldForce sales representatives across our Pittsburgh, Hershey, and Philadelphia branches.
- Spend significant time in the field conducting ride-alongs, customer visits, and hands-on coaching to improve prospecting, territory management, technical selling, account development, and closing skills.
- Establish clear expectations and accountability around sales activity, customer engagement, pipeline development, territory growth, revenue, and margin performance.
- Work with sales representatives to develop effective territory plans, target new customers, strengthen existing accounts, and identify projects and opportunities early.
- Monitor CRM activity, pipeline health, opportunities, and sales performance to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key regional and strategic customers while supporting the team on major opportunities, pricing, proposals, and negotiations.
- Identify new markets, customers, applications, and opportunities to expand FieldForce''s regional presence.
- Partner closely with branch and operations leadership to align sales strategy with equipment availability, operational capabilities, and customer needs.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop new sales representatives while building the next generation of FieldForce sales leaders.
- Promote FieldForce''s complete capabilities across pumping, temporary power, bypass pumping, dewatering, HDPE piping and fusion, and related specialty rental solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful outside sales experience, preferably within equipment rental, construction, industrial services, pumping, temporary power, utilities, municipal infrastructure, or a related industry.
- Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals.
Proven track record of growing territories, developing new business, and expanding key customer relationships.
- Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals, including prospecting, territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM utilization, and account development.
- Demonstrated ability to establish expectations, drive accountability, and improve individual and team sales performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand technical applications and translate customer needs into equipment and service solutions.
- Comfortable working hands-on with sales representatives in the field and regularly engaging directly with customers.
- Ability to travel regularly between FieldForce's Pittsburgh, Hershey, and Philadelphia branches and throughout the surrounding sales territories.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
