Works closely with the Sr. Sales Engineer Sales and Sales & Marketing Director on proposals, bids/tenders and submittals.Responsibilities Relationship ManagementMaintain constant contact, cultivate relationships and develop the reps in the assigned territory so they're engaged with the company and effectively selling equipmentSupport Reps by traveling to respective territories and meeting with project decision makers.Develop and cultivate relationships with existing and new Engineers and End UsersPerform presentations developed by marketing and tailored for project specific audiencesAttend trade shows and rep training as requiredLead ManagementMaintain lead and project files and follow up appropriately- minimal annuallyReview and accurately interpret project plans and specifications (leads) for design and pricing accuracyCorrectly enter projects into customer relationship management (CRM) database and update (follow‑up) with detailed notes on correspondence, design changes and contact informationGenerate budget proposals, bid documents and manage bids through reps in respective territoryAccurately handoff awarded projects to Engineering with pertinent design and documentation requirements requiredTrack and maintain website leads and requestsGrowth ManagementStrong attention to ensuring that the respective territory sales pipe is filled with solid revenue opportunitiesAcquire competitor and pricing feedback for jobs bidDevelop new business opportunities and enhance existing opportunities by maintaining optimal bid positions and improving bid positions where possibleReintroduce our company to past customers for follow upAssist in development of literature and sales presentationsQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or BusinessKnowledge of ERP software and AutoCADProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to read and interpret blue-prints; analyze engineering drawings and specificationsAbility to work independently and productively with little supervision, but must also be able to work as part of the teamHighly organized with an extreme attention to detail and documentationOral communication – speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situationsWritten communication – edits their own work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written informationPresentation skills – has the ability to present our product in a clear and concise manner to small and large groupsNegotiation skills – must be able to negotiate at any levelTechnical aptitude – ability to relate to consulting engineers, manufacturer's reps and plant personnelSelf‑motivated, comfortable working independently with the ability to work to tight deadlinesAdaptability/Flexibility – has the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected eventsExcellent team member; driven to contribute to the team effortDependability: is consistently at work and on time, (or notifies if late or absent prior to being late of absent) follows instructions and responds to management directionBusiness development experience selling into the wastewater industry is preferredProven time management skillsContinuously seeking and implementing methods to increase product quality, customer service and company efficiencyRespect for the Company's resources; treat company equipment, funds, time and co-workers with respectMust be able to travel both domestically and international (approximately 10%)Willingness to learn and seek out new skillsAmbitious, outgoing, loyal and dynamic#J-18808-Ljbffr
