Primary Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the retail team in their assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Regional Director and account team, in the successful execution of business plans and strategic alignment in their assigned geographic territory. The Regional Sales Managers will define and deliver on account needs, ensuring top-notch customer service and schedule compliance. Essential Functions:
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review service schedules and territories, recommending improvements and optimization
Oversees inventory management by optimizing opportunity with in-stock conditions.
Define, communicate, and execute goals for the assigned sales areas
Coach, counsel, train, and evaluate job performance of employees in meeting their assigned objectives and developing their skills.
Manage business through sales growth & KPD; manages budgets for the assigned sales area, including third-party labor management.
Communicates and collaborates with other KeHE functional areas to meet all company objectives.
Direct the activities of the retail team in the assigned sales area, to include prioritization of incremental selling opportunities and product assortment integrity.
Recommend and implement change in staffing requirements and assist in the selection process to effect such changes. Administers appropriate company Human Resource policies and procedures.
Ensure all KPDs, sales targets, and contribution margins are met.
Cultivates and maintains an effective working relationship with both store management and our vendor partners within defined area.
Travel required as needed for route coverage, meetings, tabletops, Food Shows & other KeHE events.
Ensure that established company policies and procedures are followed in the assigned sales area.
Communicates and collaborates with other KeHE functional areas to meet all company objectives.
Observe all safety procedures and policies as outlined by the company’s Safety Policy, including working safely, reporting all unsafe work conditions or practices and notification of injured employees to Human Resources timely and consistently.
Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
Ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Regional Director and leadership team.

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the grocery industry with three years in a supervisory or management role within industry.
Working knowledge of and literacy in computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed, including out of town on business, food shows, and table tops.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including some weekends.
