We need people that take accountability for their actions and pride in their work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Actively develop new business in assigned regions and implement measures to exploit market potentialManage existing customersCompetently support customers and Sales Reps / distributors in technical questions and applications Independently negotiate with customers and Sales Reps / distributors within corporate guidelines Meet sales / profit targets Extensive business travel to promote Hermle products to customers in designated area Periodic overseas travel to Germany for training, maintaining product knowledge and customer visitsAttendance at trade shows and open housesSelf-motivating home office-based workingPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:At least ten years of sales experience within the high-end machine tool industry Graduate engineer (mechanical or electrical) or equal work-related experience with profound knowledge in the machine tool industryNegotiation skills and results driven thinkingStrong interpersonal and communication skills Customer satisfaction, focus oriented thinkingProven record in successfully selling high end machine tools in competitive marketsMicrosoft Office knowledge is mandatorySeveral years of sales organization managementPreferred locations: Maine / New Hampshire / Vermont / Massachusetts / New York / Rhode Island / Connecticut / New Jersey / Central & Eastern Pennsylvania
