Seeking a skilled and high-performing sales professional with a proven and demonstrable track-record of delivering results, to drive sales growth for our contaminants removal products focused on the North American Municipal and Industrial market. The successful candidate will have experience selling adsorption media technical solutions direct and through third-party channels into Municipal and Industrial markets. The Regional Sale Manager will be responsible executing sales growth plans and increase the opportunity funnel in support of profitable growth goals. This position will be remote and reports to the Director of Sales.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Drive double-digit sales growth in support of market penetration and expansion strategies.
  • Hunter mentality within a Territory Management structure, accountable for execution and performance of aggressive Sales Growth plan within the assigned territory including product sales in close collaboration with channel partners as well as, direct sales.
  • Generate monthly forecast of opportunities to meet sales quota from CRM while maintaining a healthy funnel of opportunities through daily sales activities.
  • Develop and Qualify sales leads and new channel partners and OEM accounts while growing existing accounts in the territory.
  • Establish relationships with all levels of prospective customers and stakeholders who influence or make buying decisions. Develop understanding of competitive products, accounts, and the company's unique value proposition versus the competition.
  • Proactive account development and ability to penetrate accounts at all levels.
  • Create specific and actionable sales plans that deliver quota results in support of territory strategy and growth plan.
 
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical sales competence in the product line to generate solutions for our customers while collaborating with support teams including Application Engineering, Aftermarket Sales, Product Management and Field Service.
  • Serve as the eyes and ears of the Organization by providing specific market intelligence including regulatory changes, market trends, product enhancements and emerging opportunities that will drive growth and profitability.
  • Manage the territory by training, coaching, and leading channel partners in the region.
  • Transfer competitor and market intelligence to Product Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency in closing existing opportunities while qualifying and developing new leads.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be competitive, persistent, and fearless with a passion and drive to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • 5+ years of professional sales experience selling adsorption media products with a sound business acumen who can quickly get up to speed and contribute.
  • Water treatment and filtration sales experience required. Knowledge and connections into Municipal and/or Industrial Markets.
  • Outstanding customer service and understanding of relationship selling and solution selling.
  • Ability to quickly learn products, process and purchasing drivers to effectively find and close opportunities.
  • Demonstrate high level of accountability and ownership of the goals and performance for the Territory.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate third-party channels to meet set targets.
  • Must have the skills, attitude, and desire to work in a team to most effectively serve our customers through our traditional channel to market of manufacturers' representatives.
  • Well-honed and articulate interpersonal, communication and presentational skills.
  • Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft applications and CRM programs, as well as other electronic selling media.
  • Successful individuals will be analytical, self-motivated, have a written plan, organized, and disciplined.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time including ground and air transportation.
  • Strong negotiating skills with proven ability to close contracts.
  • Require strong time management skills and planning.
  • Tenacious and Resilient.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • University degree and 5+ years of professional sales experience in the municipal and industrial markets in North America are required.
  • Inherent managerial and leadership skills in motivating others.
  • Strong technical and application knowledge of disinfection and/or filtration technologies required.
REMOTE position with up to 50% travel prefer someone from near the west coast for this role
