As a Regional Sales Manager you will drive growth and team success. You will lead the sales team in the region to achieve the yearly sales target. You will analyze the various markets within the region, launch approved sales strategies, develop new distribution channels, and mentor your sales team to achieve our business objectives.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Analyzing the various market segments within your region incl. preparation of potential analyses and business plans.
  • Implementation of the sales strategy for the area sales team in the sales region
  • Definition of annual goals and action plans
  • Further development of existing market segments
  • Establishment and growth of sales channels in existing and new market segments.
  • Have daily/weekly/monthly communication with sales engineers
  • Use existing CRM tool to drive, manage and coordinate the sales team as well as gain additional market competence
  • Make joint sales calls with sales engineers (Project/OEM/MRO)
  • Motivate and coach the field sales engineers.
  • Preparing regular reports and forecasts for the Sales Management Team
  • Develop and maintain close relationship with key customers in the responsible sales area and strategically grow the sales to these customers.
  • Ensure proper management of the sales channels
  • Set target for distribution partners and support them to meet the target.
  • Coordinate within the team to make better marketing promotion according to company marketing plan
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related industrial majors
  • Five plus years valve business sales background preferred in similar position
  • Experienced sales ability on project business and OEM business, sales channel management
  • Experience in using a CRM-system as the essential sales management tool
  • Leadership Experience

  • Good and supportive team player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and result orientated
  • The candidate to have work authorization in the USA.
  • The candidate to pass a TSA background check and attain a government issued TWIC card.
  • The candidate to regulatory be available and willing to conduct frequent overnight travel.
  • The candidate to pass a drug screening.
  • The candidate to have and maintain government issued passport and driver's license.
  • The candidate must be able to physically lift to 40 lbs.
