We are currently hiring a Regional Sales Manager who will cover the Western territory. This individual will be based in a home office and travel up to 50% within the territory, including overnight trips. This is an individual contributor role that does not supervise others.
This role will be based in the Los Angeles/Southern California region and will require travel throughout CA and multiple Western states. Some overnight travel will be required.
Job Description
This role is responsible to provide "hands-on" and immediate business to business sales between manufacturing representatives, Direct Sales Representatives, and customers within a defined territory to achieve pre-established sales objectives and margin targets set by Executive Management. The Regional Sales Manager meets with customers in person to identify their needs and close sales deals. Their main duties include traveling within their assigned territory to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and informing clients about new products, updates and features. The Regional Sales Manager will be prospecting for new business and also forecasting and managing customer visits and pipeline opportunities through the Essentra CRM. Experience selling industrial products is required.
