This is the opportunity that awaits at Duraco Specialty Tapes & Liners. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in Southern California to build and grow the western region-not just maintain it. This role calls for a true hunter mindset-someone who is confident prospecting, disciplined in building a credible pipeline, and comfortable traveling throughout the region to stay in front of customers.
Experience selling specialty double-sided adhesive tapes is essential; knowledge of PET and paper release liners is a definite plus.
Your mission:
1) Uncover and close new business ($100K+ opportunities).
You will open doors, start conversations, and convert curiosity into profitable growth. You are comfortable being the first call-and you know how to make it a great one.
2) Develop accounts and expand relationships.
You turn "first orders" into long-term partnerships, listening for what is next, finding up-sell/cross-sell opportunities that help establish trust, build pipeline and drive repeat orders.
3) Build and maintain a healthy pipeline ($2MM+).
You keep new opportunities moving with smart, consistent activity-prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline hygiene. You understand that building a pipeline requires perseverance.
You will communicate effectively across internal and external manufacturing, engineering, technical, and sourcing teams-turning real-world challenges into solutions that stick.
A year from now, success will look very clear. You will have a pipeline that is active and growing. You will have new accounts that are generating profitable growth in strategic markets where we deserve to win. The customers you inherited will be doing more with you than they were before. And perhaps most importantly, your name will come up in conversations-not as a vendor, but as someone customers trust and rely on to help solve problems.
Compensation: $115k to $125k (based on experience and qualifications) plus sales incentive bonus
