About The Role
Our client, a leader in the building products sector, seeks a motivated sales professional to expand their presence across NC, SC, and Northern GA. This role is ideal for a driven individual who excels in a home office setting and is passionate about exceeding sales targets. This person should be located within the territory, and have the ability to travel 2-3 nights per week within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve and surpass sales goals while securing new accounts within the territory.
Strategically plan and execute field sales calls to optimize territory coverage.
Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to foster relationships and present product offerings.
Prepare quotes and ensure timely follow-up to meet customer expectations.
Engage with distributors and lumberyards to expand market reach.
Qualifications
Must have experience in building materials.
At least 3 years in outside sales, with a preference for 5 years.
Proficiency in CRM systems.
Demonstrated success as a proactive sales 'hunter.'
Willingness to travel within the territory 3 days a week, including 2 overnight stays. Company vehicle will be provided.
