About the Opportunity

We are a privately owned, growing company specializing in natural stone exterior hardscape materials. We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to develop new business, manage existing customer relationships, and grow sales throughout Alabama, Southern Tennessee, Southern Mississippi, and Northern Arkansas.

This is a business development and account management position designed for a sales professional who understands the hardscape, landscape, masonry, architectural stone, or related construction-materials environment.

Our focus is stone materials for exterior applications. We do not sell countertops, marble slabs, granite slabs, or primarily interior stone products. Candidates with experience selling natural stone, hardscape materials, landscape products, masonry products, pavers, or related exterior construction materials are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with landscape contractors, hardscape contractors, masons, builders, landscape architects, designers, dealers, distributors, and other industry professionals.
• Prospect for new customers and identify opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Manage and expand existing customer accounts through regular communication, job-site visits, product presentations, and ongoing account support.
• Promote the company's natural stone product portfolio and identify the right materials for customer projects.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, project specifications, product availability, pricing, and competitive activity.
• Conduct regular in-person sales calls throughout the territory.
• Generate quotes, follow up on opportunities, negotiate sales, and close new business.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales activity information.
• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate orders, deliveries, product availability, and customer service.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity and communicate relevant information to management.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and other business-development activities as appropriate.
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned multi-state territory.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven outside sales professional who understands how business is done in the hardscape and exterior construction-materials industry.

Preferred experience includes:

• Natural stone or hardscape materials
• Landscape/hardscape contracting
• Masonry products or building materials
• Pavers, retaining-wall products, architectural stone, or similar exterior materials
• Landscape design or architectural sales
• Dealer/distributor sales
• Construction-materials sales
• Outside B2B sales with a strong emphasis on territory development

Stone-material experience is highly valued. Candidates whose primary experience is in countertops, interior surfaces, or marble and granite slab sales may not be the best fit for this position.
