About the Role:

Ready to lead with impact?

Join CBRE as a Senior Facilities Manager, where you'll take the helm of the headquarters for one of our key clients - a 2-million-square-foot campus. In this high-visibility role, you will oversee daily operations while leading a team of direct reports to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless performance, safety, and compliance of the facility, driving improvements that enhance the overall workplace experience. As part of the Facilities Management function, you'll partner closely with Property Managers and landlords to provide consistent, high-quality service across the portfolio.

This is more than a facilities role, it's an opportunity to lead, influence, and elevate operations for a major client in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

Lead and coordinate facility repairs and maintenance by partnering with technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality service.

Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular meetings to address and resolve facility-related concerns.

Plan, prepare, and manage large-scale and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports with precision and strategic oversight.

Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining high standards of quality assurance.

Identify opportunities for operational improvements, repairs, and upgrades, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and performance.

Develop and enforce environmental health and safety procedures tailored to each facility's needs.

Build and maintain vendor relationships, oversee invoicing processes, and review and approve purchase orders for parts, services, and labor.

Apply broad business and technical knowledge to align facilities operations with departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives.

Provide formal supervision to staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, training, and development planning.

Manage daily team operations by setting work schedules, assigning tasks, cross-training staff, and tracking departmental deadlines.

Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting CBRE's RISE values and influencing others through leadership and collaboration.

Solve complex technical and operational challenges with a strategic and solutions-oriented mindset.

Recognize and address the broader impact of decisions across the department, driving continuous improvement in methods, processes, and standards.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Headquarters and/or campus-level facilities management experience required.

Experience managing a facility with a central plant is required.

Strong high-level budget management capability, including forecasting, accruals, deferrals, and variance reporting.

Facility Management certification (e.g., IFMA, BOMA) preferred.

Demonstrated experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, performance management, and retention.

Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information clearly, set expectations, and navigate challenges effectively.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and align operational goals across functions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications.

Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, curious, solutions-oriented mindset.

Strong understanding of financial and operational mathematics, including percentages, fractions, and other facility-related calculations.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
