Overview:
The Regional Trailer Manager is responsible for driving overall EBITDA performance and quality assurance for the trailer product line across the trailer hubs/locations in the region. This role is designed to be the conduit from our frontline operations teams and customers directly to our VP of Products, Regional VP Operations, Director or Operations and National Product Manager-Trailers to create positive actions toward meeting goals/objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with trailer hub managers on planning for demands according to seasonal needs
- Coordinate with trailer hub managers, area managers and asset managers for large events and/or projects throughout region for labor, inventory, trucks, transportation and other support services required for success
- Optimize personnel at trailer hub locations based on bandwidth, skills and other key factors.
- Support trailer operations directly with deliveries, pickups, repairs on an as needed basis
- Collaborate on development and facilitation of training initiatives for trailer operations teams
- Collaborate in the facilitation of training for sales teams and/or customers where/when applicable
- Facilitate and maintain full GPS/QR installation for regional trailer fleet tracking
- Manage overall regional fleet compliance with assistance from hub managers and asset management team
- Maintain accountability for overall usage of proper systems and operational protocols for use of technology
- Act as liaison between trailer operations team and IT for issues impacting region or improvements
- Manage plan to repair out of service assets at various hubs in region, in house or 3rd party with help from Asset Management team
- Coordinate seasonal inventory levels with help from Asset Management team
- Assist with acquisition fleet integrations to make consistent with USS trailer fleet
- Manage overall truck needs across the region to efficiently support trailer activity
- Ensure all trailer hubs are properly equipped with correct resources (tools, workspaces, supplies, etc)
- Conduct frequent reviews to chart overall progress with team
- Communicate essential needs to Regional Operations Director / VP Operations
- Coordinate with National Product Manager and VP Products on initiatives to positively impact revenue and/or EBITDA
- Assist in managing trailer hub P&Ls and/or Regional P&L if/when available
- Travel to trailer hub locations in region as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range:
$89,500.00 – $134,200.00 / year
Pay Transparency Statement:
At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
