Position Details

Position Details:

• Semi Local drivers will move rail containers from the North Baltimore, OH BNSF/CSX rail ramp to various customers in a 400-mile radius. This will include loads in/out of the Cincinnati, OH NS Rail Yard, Lockbourne, OH NS Rail Yard, the Toledo NS Rail yard, the Cleveland, OH CSX Rail Yard and the Maple Heights, OH NS Rail Yard. This will also include customers mainly in all of Ohio and some parts of KY, WV, IN and MI.

• 75% Drop and Hook.

• Office is about 4 1/2 mile from the NS rail yard.

• Office Address: 650 S. Reynolds Road, Toledo OH 43607.

• No onsite management. Managers are based out of the Toledo Office.

• Passengers/pets are not permitted.

Special Requirements:

• HAZMAT endorsement in 180 days. Cost is reimbursed with receipt. Drivers are paid an extra $25 per each hazmat load.
• Tanker endorsement in 180 days. Cost is reimbursed with receipt. Drivers do not run tanker containers, but some customers ship freight in 'bladders' that require the tanker endorsement.

PTO & Holiday Pay:

• PTO rate based off tenure for Full-time drivers - There are 6 paid company Holidays that are paid at the holiday rate of $190. The holiday rate is available after 365 days with the company and is based off company seniority. If the railyard is open on a holiday, there will be work available however you are not required to work

• Automatic Sleepers
• The driver might be eligible to take the truck home, this will be up to local management. The driver must have a safe/secure location to park the tractor.
• There must be customers in the 20-mile vicinity of their home address with a load to get them home. If not, they will park their personal vehicle at the North Baltimore, OH yard at12769 Eagleville Rd, North Baltimore, OH 45872.
• Passengers/pets are not permitted.

Job Details:

• Detention pay: $20 per hour

• Stop Pay: $40 per stop

• Live load/unload: $62 per stop

• Hazmat: $25 per load

• Refrigerated: $30 per load

• Driver assist: $25 per load

• Holiday pay per day: average daily wage

• Safety training pay per hour: $20

• New hire training pay: $20 per hour per day

• Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $76,669

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time
