Overview:

The Regional Warehouse and Equipment Supervisor position is primarily responsible for overseeing the local facilities and the direct reports of the Warehouse department in both individual and team performance, driving efficiency into the warehouse processes to optimize productivity and effectiveness in their geographic territory while acting in accordance with company values, vision, and mission. 

Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of local Warehouse Supervisors. 
  • Supervision of local Warehouse Coordinators. 
  • Supervision of Warehouse Operations Coordinators across territory
  • Oversee facilities and warehouse operations across territory and direct local teams in the maintenance of their facilities and equipment. 
  • Manage warehouse operations and employees in ensuring that all routine service and maintenance, supply, and parts requests are attended to in a timely manner in relation to warehouse duties and responsibilities. 
  • Direct warehouse activities to maximize efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness of daily objectives. 
  • Inventory management and control. Facilitate and maintain appropriate equipment levels to satisfy operational needs and maintain fiscal responsibility for spending. 
  • Equipment service and repair (including on-time PM services) 
  • Truck upfitting, return, preparation, and auction action. 
  • Telematics hardware support 
  • Equipment redistribution (FL cones ended up in MD, get them back.) 
  • Purchasing and EPO management 
  • Incident Reports for action 
  • Establishing new markets and/or warehouse operations 
  • Special projects 
  • Manage employee timecards and monthly spending. 
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks as needed to ensure facilities and equipment meet brand standards. 
  • Create and implement policies/procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and performance. 
  • Analyze problems by evaluating available information and resources; develops effective, viable solutions to problems to drive efficiency and meet goals; many times, with limited information and under tight deadlines and pressure. 
  • Ensure that field operations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. Enforce safety protocols and guidelines and work closely with our Safety team. 
  • Assist safety with the investigation of incidents when requested. 
  • Manage compliance of all fleet and equipment policies and procedures, including but not limited to purchasing, spending limits, work orders, and repair authorizations. 
  • Support fleet operations and manage in-market vendor transactions and relationships for asset upkeep and repair. 
  • Support Fleet and Resource Allocation in the distribution of inventory and fleet assets to other markets to resolve problems concerning effective and efficient use of assets. · Collaborate with other departments to integrate inventory and maintenance systems and processes, such as Order Processing, Dispatch, Field, Fleet, Safety and Training. · Earn others’ trust by behaving in an honest, fair, and ethical manner; show consistency in words and actions; model high standards of ethics. · Professionally represent the organization to clients, employees, and the public. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license in accordance with Flagger Force's motor vehicle record standards.
  • Five (5)+ years facilities/warehouse/shop experience
  • Three (3)+ years supervisory experience, including direct employee oversight
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office software systems 
  • Exceptional verbal, written, analytical and reasoning skills 
  • Steel toed boots or the ability to obtain prior to employment. 

  • Ability to travel 60% 

Preferred Experience:

 

  • Five (5) years minimum experience working in logistics, facilities, maintenance/mechanical, warehouse or related experience.
  • Background in continuous improvement
