This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, implementing behavior intervention plans in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Monitor and document client progress, ensuring data collection is accurate and timely.
- Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings, including home and community.
- Assist in the development of social skills and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce positive behaviors.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients and their families.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; RBT certification preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to client success.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
- Basic understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
