About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Bloomsbury, NJ. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, making a positive impact on their lives and development.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for children with ASD under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Conduct one-on-one sessions to teach social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Monitor and document client progress and behavioral data accurately.
- Collaborate with families to provide support and resources for their child's development.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during sessions.
- Assist in the development of new therapeutic strategies and interventions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- Experience working with children with ASD or in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow supervision guidelines.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping children achieve their goals.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various hours, including evenings or weekends.
- Basic understanding of ABA principles and techniques is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology or related fields is a bonus.
