Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)- Being certified as an RBT is NOT required — We pay for the training to get you certified!

Position Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a key role in creating meaningful learning opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this role, you will support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized, evidence-based interventions.

RBTs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other RBTs to ensure each child receives high-quality, coordinated care. This position helps bring treatment plans to life by providing consistent support, encouragement, and hands-on guidance to help children reach their fullest potential.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Interested in a graduate degree in ABA, OT, PT, SLP, Early Childhood Special Education or other related field (preferred)
  • 40 Hr Registered Behavior Technician certification complete
  • Criminal background check
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
  • Understanding of HIPAA and adherence to all policies
  • Works with integrity and ethically
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion
  • Familiarity with the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ABA preferred

Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality 1:1 and group ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based and/or community- based setting.
  • Implement ABA treatment programs as written by the BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan utilizing data collection software.
  • Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of ABA.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including OT, PT, and Speech Therapy.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by Children With Opportunity.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Update BCBA on common trends, new behaviors, and challenges/successes with clients
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (eligible for annual performance-based increase)
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
