Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a long-term assignment in Ridgecrest, California. This opportunity involves working directly with students requiring behavioral support services while collaborating closely with educators, therapists, and behavioral specialists.
The ideal candidate will have experience implementing behavior intervention plans, supporting students with developmental or behavioral needs, and maintaining a positive, structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision
- Provide one-on-one and group behavioral support to students
- Assist students in improving communication, social, academic, and daily living skills
- Collect and document behavioral data accurately
- Support classroom management and student engagement
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff regarding student progress
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school policies
- Encourage positive behaviors and reinforce appropriate coping strategies
- Assist with de-escalation techniques and behavioral redirection when necessary
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous school-based or pediatric behavioral support experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents required
- Experience implementing behavioral intervention strategies preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and behavioral records required
