Overview:
- Seeking a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join the surgical team of a modern, state-of-the-art, well-established, and patient-centered dental surgery practice in Santa Rosa. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and high-energy.
- Experience is a plus but not required. We seek a team player with a positive attitude, a caring spirit, and a strong interest in collaboration and professional growth.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Assist dentists during surgical and routine dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials; maintain aseptic technique and instrument sterilization.
- Take and manage high-quality intra-oral photographs as required.
- Document patient care and treatment accurately in electronic records.
- Use computer systems for documentation, charting, and scheduling; demonstrate proficiency with common office software.
- Participate in training on practice-specific computer systems and 3D virtual surgery treatment planning software.
- Maintain professional communication with patients, doctors, and coworkers; follow verbal and written instructions and perform assigned duties reliably.
Technical and Computer Requirements:
- Computer literate with the ability to navigate electronic health record systems and scheduling software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Google Workspace is preferred; training will be provided for practice-specific applications.
