Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dental cleanings, periodontal treatments, and preventive care
- Update patient medical histories and document vital signs
- Capture and analyze digital radiographs, intraoral images, and iTero scans
- Perform periodontal evaluations, charting, and oral cancer screenings
- Evaluate caries risk and provide patient education on preventive measures
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
- Identify potential dental issues and relay findings to the dentist
- Guide patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment options
- Work alongside doctors and team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain precise clinical records
- Assist with the setup and turnover of operatories as necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Dental Hygiene License
- Current CPR Certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients
- Experience with digital radiography and periodontal assessments
- Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred
- Experience with iTero is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented demeanor
