Job Description
To qualify for the position of Registered Dental Hygienist, candidates must:
- Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
- Be certified in Laser dentistry
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to oral health and patient care
Key responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) include:
- Educating patients on dental hygiene practices, including tooth care and nutrition
- Removing plaque and tartar through scaling and polishing techniques
- Taking dental impressions and/or radiographs
- Applying preventive treatments such as prophylactic agents, antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to reduce the risk of cavities
- Conducting screenings and monitoring dental health
