Hours for the Registered Dental Hygienist:
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Registered Dental Hygienist:
1+ year experience is preferred
Screening patients during checkups
Reviewing a patient’s dental history
Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
Teaching patients about proper teeth-cleaning techniques and oral health
Performing preventative dental care
Applying fluoride treatments
Sterilizing equipment as needed
Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental disease
