The PositionWe are in search of a dependable Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who possesses outstanding clinical abilities and a friendly demeanor. You will play a vital role in our preventative care team, performing screenings, educating patients, and aiding in treatment planning for gum disease and overall oral health.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cleanings, screenings, and gather oral health histories.
- Recognize conditions such as gingivitis, cavities, or periodontitis.
- Provide education to patients of all ages regarding preventative care and post-operative instructions.
- Capture high-quality X-rays and dental impressions.
- Ensure accurate patient documentation (experience with Dentrix is preferred).
- Oversee the scheduling of Colgate orders for patient education materials.
Requirements- Licensure: Must hold a valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (mandatory).
- Experience: Prior clinical experience is advantageous, but a friendly and patient-centered attitude is essential.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, endurance for clinical tasks, and a solid understanding of HIPAA and safety regulations.
Schedule & Location- Working Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Location: Albany, NY 12205 (Colonie area).
