Registered Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Denver, CO

Our organization, a reputable private dental practice situated in the sought-after Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver, CO, is on the lookout for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to become part of our dedicated team. We are committed to delivering outstanding patient care within a supportive, positive, and collaborative atmosphere.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• 3 to 4 days each week
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Perform periodontal evaluations and maintain accurate charting
• Take and analyze dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with regulations
• Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants
• Recognize signs of oral diseases and relay findings to the dentist
• Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care
• Review and reinforce treatment plans and recommendations
• Keep precise and comprehensive patient records
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
• Ensure sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the operatory
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to facilitate smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with scaling and root planing (SRP)
• Familiarity with Perio laser and Arestin is preferred
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
• Capability to administer local anesthesia

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate ranging from $65 to $70, depending on experience
